Lemmer, The Netherlands – Hytrans is sending a truck equipped with a mobile water transport system to France to help fight the ongoing wildfires. The scale of these wildfires is putting enormous pressure on French emergency services, prompting the use of additional capacity.
The truck en route is carrying two HydroSub 150 units and a HoseLayerContainer containing 4,000 meters of hose, couplings, and spare parts. Deploying these units provides additional capacity to transport large volumes of water over longer distances to the fire scene. This support helps French emergency services in their vital work on the fire line.
“We are proud that Hytrans can contribute to the fight against wildfires in France. Our appreciation goes to all the firefighters and first responders who are working in difficult conditions to protect people, nature, and property.”
— Martin Maasland, CEO
The French Civil Defense and various French fire departments are already using Hytrans’s mobile water transport systems. This additional capacity complements existing operational systems and is immediately ready for deployment wherever needed.
Based in Lemmer, Hytrans develops and manufactures mobile water-transport systems for fire departments, emergency services, and industrial users worldwide. These systems are deployed to combat wildfires, respond to industrial incidents, manage floods, and address other large-scale emergencies requiring the transport of large volumes of water.
