Bestrijding van natuurbranden

The urgency of wildfire control

Wildfires are becoming more frequent, intense, and unpredictable, often spreading rapidly within minutes. Early, decisive action is crucial to limit fire growth and minimize destruction. However, firefighters frequently struggle to secure enough water in remote, rugged, and mountainous regions, where conventional fire trucks and tankers fall short. Quick access to a nearby, high-capacity water supply is essential to protect communities, critical infrastructure, and natural environments, enabling faster, more effective wildfire control and suppression.

Hytrans uses hydraulically driven pumps to deliver a continuous, high-capacity water supply near the wildfire, eliminating the need for long-distance water-refill runs. With an open- or closed-relay setup, our systems can transport water across tens of kilometers, even uphill, ensuring reliable access in the most remote and rugged terrain.

By bringing the water source closer, helicopters and ground vehicles can refill faster, drastically reducing travel times and increasing water-supply rates. The result? Greater operational efficiency, faster wildfire suppression, and minimized damage, allowing response teams to act with speed and precision when it matters most.

Volledig operationeel binnen een uur

Designed for high performance and rapid deployment, Hytrans mobile water transport systems for wildfire control can be fully operational within the hour with minimal manpower. Our systems can draw from diverse water sources, including pools, reservoirs, distant hydrants, mountain creeks, rivers, lakes, and even seawater, overcoming barriers of distance, elevation, and rugged terrain.

Preventing wildfires before they start: proactive protection with Hytrans

Are you responsible for wildfire control in your region? Is your area prepared to mitigate wildfire risks before they escalate? Do you have a proactive strategy and the resources to prevent wildfires from spreading?

Preventive wildfire measures save lives and protect communities. With Hytrans’ high-capacity water transport systems, communities and authorities can act before disaster strikes. Our solutions enable the creation of wet lanes, help keep residential areas and structures damp, and reduce the risk of new fires sparked by embers or sparks. Additionally, Hytrans systems can supply water to unforeseen high-risk areas, ensuring critical protection when wildfire threats emerge.

By acting before a wildfire outbreak, emergency teams can stay ahead of the threat, control the spread of fire, and protect communities from catastrophic damage.

Eén systeem, dubbele inzet: bij brand én overstroming

Hytrans mobile water transport solutions are engineered for versatility, serving both wildfire and flood control with a single investment. By selecting the right system options, these high-capacity water transport systems can deliver optimized water flow for effective flood control in demanding conditions.
