One of the most challenging and severe fires occurred in Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the Czech Republic. Hundreds of firefighters and helicopters from Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and Sweden were mobilized. Hytrans mobile water transport systems played a crucial role in supplying water to both ground crews and air operations.

In this remote region, water had to be transported over nearly 10 kilometers using high-capacity hoses that also had to bridge significant elevation changes in the landscape.
Due to these height differences, it was essential that the water reached its destination with enough pressure and flow to remain effective. Hytrans systems ensured this by delivering continuous, high-volume output, even over long distances and across steep terrain.
To support aerial firefighting, water was pumped into large buffer basins. Helicopters collected water from these basins, greatly reducing flight time and increasing operational efficiency. Without the mobile water transport units, fast and effective wildfire suppression in these inaccessible areas would have been nearly impossible.
