The Hytrans CombiContainers consists of a fixed installed hose compartment and a storage space for one mini container module. This space can be used to carry a mobile pump unit (HydroSub 150 or HydroSub 250), a separate HoseBox or a FloodModule.
The CombiContainers (CC) are mounted on an A-frame with hook arm facility and is available in three standard sizes, CC5500, CC6000, and CC6500. The CC6500 is the longest CombiContainer and has more storage capability for both hoses and Hardware. For example, it is possible to store 2000 meter of 6″ (150 mm) hose in the hose compartment of the CC6500. The CC5500 can carry 1000 meter 6″ (150 mm) hose.
All Combi Containers come with storage compartments and our unique patented HoseBlocs as described below.
The cabinet, mounted at the front has lockable access doors on each side, providing storage compartments for associated Hardware (Portable Water Supply Equipment – PWSE) or additional (short) hoses. By design, the top compartment before the hose compartment is suitable to have the HoseRecoveryUnit (HRU200) fitted.
The door of the hose compartment can open 270º and can be mechanically locked. The roof doors are made of anodised aluminium panels and equipped with gas springs for easy opening and functioning as a safety railing when deployed. Special stainless steel protection plates mounted on strategic positions prevent damage of the paint during hose recovery.
Due to the special construction and the use of lightweight materials such as aluminium floors and roof panels, the CombiContainer is easy to handle. The patented HoseBlocs in the hose compartment prevent the hose from shifting during container handling.
