The HydroSub 550 is a mobile pumping unit driven by a powerful diesel engine with radiator cooling. It consists of a diesel-hydraulic power pack pump unit with a portable hydraulic driven submersible pump.  This mobile unit is transported using a truck with hook arm lift off system.

Submersible pumps

The submersible pump feeds the main-boost pump fixed installed in the container pump housing. Inside the housing there is a compartment to store the 1 x 60m 10” lay flat feeding hose.

Foam injection

Optionally an integrated Hytrans PowerFoam system (HS550F) is available, allowing foam premixing from 0,5% up to 6%. The electronically controlled, hydraulically driven foam pump provides accuracy and stepless choice of foam percentage.

Accessibility

The 60 meter hydraulic hose length guarantees access to almost all open waters at a combined distance up to 60 meter and/or 10-15 meter vertically. The unit also has a hydraulical driven support winch to retrieve the submersible pump after deployment.

• At 10 meter or 33 ft pump lift: 15.000 lpm at 12 bar (4000 GPM at 150 psi)
• At 15 meter or 50 ft pump lift: 14.000 lpm at 12 bar (3700 GPM at 175 psi)
